Picture of Alumni

Check out what is going on in at the university and with our alumni!

On August 26, Alumni Relations had the pleasure of hosting a reunion of the Student Leadership Foundation (SLF) from 1968 thru 1970. Most of the members of SLF had not been to campus since graduation.

The group toured the campus with Andy Downs, director of the Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics; Tyler Bowers, biology student; Victoria Sarjeant, assistant director of alumni relations; and Eve Colchin, director of development.

"It brought back memories as well as a feeling of pride that the little school we attended 50 years ago is now such a wonderful campus," said Steve Pettyjohn, reunion co-organizer. "The changes we saw were unimaginable when we were there."

During their time as students, Kettler Hall was the only building in existence. They were able to see the recent re-modeling, new buildings and technology, and faculty, as well as learn about degree programs and reminisce about their favorite teacher, Mike Downs, with his son Andy.
